TriVita Health – Vegetable Reluctance – NutraFruits to the Rescue
I don't know about you, but I hate most vegetables. Just writing this article has given me flashbacks of my childhood years, and that was over 40 years ago! I can still remember my mother making me sit at the table many times until I ate vegetables, whether it was peas, green beans, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, and the list goes on. YUCK!!! YUCK!!! YUCK!!!
I'm going to change the subject quick. I, however, loved to eat fruits. I loved eating apples, peaches, strawberries, oranges, watermelons, and so on. There are even some fruits that I didn't eat as a kid that I do eat now--cherries and cantelopes. I usually ate these fruits uncooked, but I do have to say that I loved momma's apple or peach cobblers. And who can resist strawberries on ice cream, especially a banana split? YUMMMM!!! YUMMMM!!!
If you're like most people, or like me, you aren't getting enough fruits and vegetables. Go figure. TriVita has a product call NutraFruits, and it helps to overcome this problem of not eating enough fruits and vegetables. It does this by providing the vital nutrients from over 30 of the healthiest fruits and vegetables on the planet, plus there is a wide range of antioxidants, phytonutrients, carotenoids, enzymes, probiotics, and fiber to support your overall health. All of this in a delicious, low calorie, powered drink--mix and enjoy,
Nutrafruits has over 30 fruits, vegetables, other essential nutrients and a 4,954 ORAC value (I don't know what an ORAC value is, but it must be good). NutraFruits includes those highly desired "exotic fruits," which are some of the most nutrient-dense, antioxidant-rich foods in the world: mangosteen, acai berries, goji berries, and pomegranates. Besides all these antioxidants, there are powerful carotenoids, such as lutein, lycopene, and astaxanthin; a probiotic blend of six types of "friendly" bacteria to support the health of your gastrointestinal system and boost your immune system; fiber from whole foods--oats and rice bran, barely and flax seed--to help support colon health and protect you against illness; standardized grape seed extract, bilberry, and reseveratrol; plus a rich assortment, instead of getting the benefits of five foods, there is over 30 essential fruits and vegetables each day, and save time from shopping.
People don't get the required amount of fruits and vegetable. According to surveys conducted in 2005 by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), more than 75% of Americans failed to meet the USDA's recommendation of five servings of fruits and vegetables. See you and I are not alone.
By getting enough fruits and vegetables, we can turn back the clock on premature aging (I need all the help I can get), protect against heart disease, soothe digestion, support the nervous and immune systems, and promote healthy-looking skin.
It's pretty easy to make. You just mix it with water or juice, and drink up. It tastes pretty good too. It's a lot easier to drink it than having to sit at the table to clear my veggies off the plate. I'll take drinking it every time.
