Nutritional Vitamins - Men vs Women

Are men and women created equal? That may depend on who you ask and how we define the word equal. There are many things men can do that women cannot do, and vice versa. For example, men cannot give birth, and women, are typically not as strong as men. Many women suffer from breast cancer, and men suffer from prostrate cancer. Two separate, yet distinct differences of men and women.

Whether you belive the Biblical truth that God created man first and then women, the simple fact is, men and women are different. Men and women have different bodies and different chemistry that makes up their bodies. Men and women need different vitamins and minerals to keep their bodies healthy. That's why TriVita has created different vitamin and mineral supplements for each person.

There are a few vitamins then men and women of all ages require. For example, vitamin A is a very necessary vitamin for everyone. It helps prevent certain types of cancer, helps reduce harmful cholesterol levels and the risk of heart attacks, prevents night blindness, and helps improve our vision.

However, the most important vitamins for the women are Vitamin A, D, C, E and B complex. Some of the minerals like the Calcium, zinc and Magnesium are very useful for the woman's body. Because of their unique nutritional needs at various times in their life cycle, women require gender specific nutrients.

If diet alone is not able to supply the proper nutrients needed in sufficient daily amounts, what can a woman do to make sure her body is protected? I believe the answer is really quite simple - vitamin and mineral supplementation. Supplements, with the proper balance of vitamins and minerals, along with a wide range of micro-nutrients, a female will be able to keep her body in nutritionally balanced, which will help her to stay energetic and possibly free from disease.

On the other hand, men are typically more conscious of their physical health (they may be trying to keep up their manly image). Today, more and more males are demanding health products that are nutritionally tailored to a man's physical and mental needs. This is leading to an increasing popularity of men's vitamin supplements. And the nutritional supplement manufactures are acknowledging that their is a difference between the physical and nutritional needs of both men and women.

Finding the vitamin and mineral supplement that meets your needs can sometimes be very difficult. However, TriVita has eliminated the problem by creating one supplement of women, and one supplement for men. Each dose is specifically designed to provide the necessary daily vitamins and minerals required of a woman and/or man.

Because men and women are different, TriVita's Daily Women is designed for the woman's needs, and TriVita's Daily Men is designed for the nutritional needs of a man. To learn more about TriVita's nutritional supplements, click on the previous link.

Before you take any supplements, it's best to consult your doctor, especially if you're taking prescription medications.
