Lorraine is a 65-year-old French Canadian woman who has been overweight for many years.  In fact, 15 years ago she even had to have knee surgery as a direct result of her weight problems.  “I was pretty miserable,” Lorraine says.  “I couldn’t even move or leave my home and found it difficult to breathe.”
