Sonoran Bloom, the name of TriVita's new product line was chosen because it closely aligns the source of the Sonoran Bloom products, the Sonoran Desert. In a desert for much of the time the landscape appears barren and devoid of life. however after rain the desert landscape goes through tremendous changes. Plants flower with such colourful splendour it is hard to imagine what the scenery was a week or so before the rain. The desert blooms after rain.

Michael Ellison CEO of TriVita visited the Sonoran desert in Mexico and was introduced to some of the healing possibilites of the desert plants whilst sitting around a camp fire. Health was the cornerstone of TriVita's formation, specifically Michael's own poor health back in 1996. So after his visit to the Sonoran Desert Michael had some key TriVita employees check into the veracity of the healing powers of these Sonoran Desert plants. They found over 100 scientific studies confirming the healing powers of the Nopal cactus alone.

From that point Michael Ellison decided that TriVita, a health and wellness company would create additional products that provided healing properties sourced from the Sonoran Desert.

The Sonoran Desert stretches from Arizona through to Mexico. TriVita based in Scottsdale Arizona had found it's "Acres of Diamonds" in it's own back yard, the Sonoran Desert.
